Sett charts can save you valuable weaving time. Instead of using the sometimes inaccurate wrapping method or doing the tedious calculations yourself, you can look up the type of yarn that you are using to find what sett you need to use. |

The above sett charts are just 2 of the 22 newly revised sett charts found in Peggy's Book 1: "Winding a Warp and Using a Paddle". In addition to Cotton/Rayon/Tencel, setts are given for: Sewing Thread, Silk, Linen/Hemp/Jute/Ramie, Wool (worsted count), Wool Run System, Wool Cut System (US and UK), Mohair, Chenille, Tencel. Setts are given for both Plain Weave (tabby) and Twill. |
